(Saba'a) 34 : 39

You say: Indeed my Lord gives sustenance abundantly to one whom He wishes among His servants, and He gives It in fixed quantity for whom He wishes; and whatever you spend from anything, He will return it, He is the best provider of the sustenance.

As told in verse 102: 8 on the Day of Judgment everyone will be questioned about all the favors that Allah has provided to him. Remembering that whoever is spending his favors under the Light of Adhikr, will be rewarded for it many times. At the same time whoever is spending his favors for showboating, all deeds of such disbelievers will be futile as explained in verses 18: 103-106. See explanation 4: 37-38; 25: 21-23.
